The final straw was we received the third fake call. It could have been another year before a heart would probably come available, that was when I contacted Organ Transplant Services and within 3 months I was in Colombia having my heart operation with the most caring Hospital staff I have had the privilege to meet. The people were so nice to me and my wife during our stay and everything was taken care of, everything. The rest period after the surgery was in one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen and am planning to go back on vacation in the near future. Thank Organ Transplant Services for giving my wife and I our lives back.

“It is nice to be back home with my family and back to work with my art students. They were so happy to have me back that they had a presentation prepared for me. I am feeling better by the day and am happy to be able to finally take all those trips and do all those things I have wanted to do for so long. Thank you again.”

"Prior to the Kidney Transplant, I had been on dialysis for two years before I was finally talked into getting on the transplant list. I then waited more than a year an a half, during which my morale was so low that I was about to give up. Around that same time, my nephew told me about the father of one of his friends from college who had had a transplant in South America. It was then that I looked on the Internet and first got in contact with Organ Transplant Services. My wife and I made the decision to travel and it may as well have been one of the best ones of our lives. I had a kidney within six weeks and experienced no problems with rejection. All of the hospital staff members were so good to us, as were the people from the hotel and Sofia, our interpreter, who was with us throughout the entire process.”

“After waiting for months for Rick’s kidney, it seemed to be that our whole life revolved around hospital trips and waiting for a phone call. After the transplant, our whole life changed. He is feeling very good and his creatinine has dropped to 2.0. His urine output is great as well. For us, waiting any longer just was not an option.”
